  1. From the little boy who dragged his friends out of the classroom and waited until they were safe, to the person who turned on the intercom, to the teacher who put furniture against the door and huddled the children together, to the police officers, fire fighters, emergency medical technicians, to the ministers, therapists, community leaders, parents, and multitudes of others who found some way to be helpers through this terrible day, we give thanks! Mr. Rogers was a very wise man, raised by a very wise mother!
